About Islamic Quote

Islamic Quote is part of the Muslims Around the World network, a family of Islamic websites. Each one does one job and tries to do it well.

Why we made Islamic Quote

The most shared, the least checked. Quotes are among the most shared Islamic content online. We wanted a collection people enjoy browsing and sharing, where every quote has a reference and the cards themselves carry it.

You can sponsor an orphan and see each month’s support. See the biggest Muslim charities in the UK and what they spend.

How quotes are chosen

Fewer, but certain. Each theme gathers whole verses and well-known sayings about everyday life: patience, hope, gratitude, family, knowledge. We would rather have fewer quotes that are certain than many that aren’t.

Where everything comes from

Quran quotes
Each is a whole verse (or a run of verses): the Arabic in the King Fahd Complex mushaf text and the English of Saheeh International, both checked letter for letter against the data muslimsaroundtheworld.org uses. Saheeh International’s translation is © Saheeh International (Abul Qasim Publishing House), credited on every quote and card.
Hadith quotes
The English wording is ours, kept close to the meaning; each carries the collection and number of the hadith. We only use numbers we can confirm in the source data behind muslimsaroundtheworld.org.
The cards
Drawn by us in code: the patterns, colours and lettering. Free to share; please keep the reference on the card.

Who runs it

Islamic Quote is made by Muslims Around the World. It is free, has no third-party adverts and needs no account. Every site in the family is listed on the Muslims Around the World sites page. Before any page here is published, an automatic review checks every verse and dua against its source letter for letter, and makes sure each statement about what Islam teaches carries its reference. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through muslimsaroundtheworld.org.

Muslims Around the World is protecting the legacy of Ali Banat, may Allah have mercy on him, and every site in the family is part of that work. Read his story.

You can learn more with us at free Islamic learning for young Muslims: short reminders from scholars, duas with their meaning, Quran recitations and prayer times.
